FFXIII Initial Thoughts

Beautiful. Simply a beautiful game.

The battle system seems to be a lot simpler than the older games, but as I found out at the launch, I'm not a major buff with virtually anything lol. The simpler battle system quickens the pace of the game in my opinion. It's very upbeat and fluid. I think Square-Enix wanted to broaden the audience of the Final Fantasy series, which is why this game is designed the way it is. The game is definitely much more of a mainstream feel in gaming than any Final Fantasy prior.

The Paradigm Shift system is pretty cool to mess with, it's virtually instantaneous and allows your party tactic to be changed up midbattle to go with the flow. I may comment more on this game later, but I don't want to spoil anything to my lack of readers. All in all, I like it a lot so far.

I'm alive...ish

Well, I'm posting this so people don't think I'm dead....

I have been doing a lot of sketching, but nothing notable, which is rather sad to me... I hope I get something soon.

Artist Block T^T

Sorry for the lack of updates, kinda fallen into an artist block, I think it's contagious matsumoto....

other than that I am all well, been enjoying Burnout Paradise, Ace Combat 4, Samurai Legend Musashi, Seven Samurai 20XX, etc, etc.....

I've been playing games and guitar constantly when I'm not looking for a job. And that's just because I can't draw for the life of me at the moment... sorry all

I hope I pull out of this soon.
